FAQ

Will my sticker stop working after a year?

No. Founding artifact QRs do not calendar-expire. The link always opens a current status page.

Can you turn off my sticker?

You can revoke this QR from your card if the sticker is lost or gifted. That changes what scanners see; it does not erase the ink.

Does the QR prove I own the card?

No. Anyone holding the item can be scanned. The scan page shows live status and honest limits — not proof that the holder controls the card. Use live control when that matters in person.

Does buying this verify me?

No. Verification and vouches come from your live card and human vouch rules - never from merch checkout.

What does a stranger see when they scan?

Live card status (active, revoked, suspended, or unknown), trust labels where applicable, plain limits, and CTAs to create a card or read the trust model - not proof that the wearer owns the card.

Can I revoke if I lose my phone?

Yes, if you saved an encrypted backup or recovery key at create. Import on /created/ from another device to restore root card and object QR control. See data policy for what we store.

What is Tier 1?

Personalized artifacts for card holders — preview your QR on a hoodie or sticker at /shop/customize/. Same rule: buying never grants vouch status.

What if Humanity ends the drop?

Older stickers may show replaced or campaign-ended copy. The URL should still resolve honestly — not a dead link. You can always create a free card at /create/.

Misprint or bad QR in the mail?

Contact support for a reprint or refund per our published policy — not an extension of expiry. See data policy for what we store.
